Carefree Tire will soon begin offering flat proof tire for Golf Cars and Utility Carts that use a tire size of 18 x 8.50-8 and 5.70-8. Ultralite is a complete tire and wheel assembly system that has replaced all of the air of a standard pneumatic tire with a proprietary formulation of micro-cellular foam. These solid tires are flexible enough to provide a comfortable ride, but can withstand all the objects that typically cause flat tire problems.

The Ultralite Tire System is designed by injecting the entire inside cavity of a standard pneumatic tire with a liquid polymer that then solidifies into flexible foam. The result is a lightweight solid tire able to eliminate all downtime related to flat tires.

Unlike solid rubber tires or traditional polyurethane "fills", this tire flat proofing product weighs about 65% less!
