QuikGel
has been specifically designed for Golf Cars and Utility Carts
that require tire sizes 18 x 8.50-8 and 5.70-8. This is a
complete tire and wheel system that contains a self-sealing
polyurethane liner inside the tread area of the tire that
will provide protection from punctures of up to 5/16".
When a puncture occurs, the polyurethane gel will instantly
adhere itself to the penetrating object and completely fill
any remaining air voids.
QuikGel
is neither a solid tire nor a tire sealant. Instead, a permanent
layer of urethane elastomer is applied at the factory to the
inside tread area of a standard pneumatic tire (see illustration).
Although this will significantly reduce flat tires from where
punctures most commonly occur, there is minimal sidewall protection.
Please refer to Carefree Tire or Ultralite if sidewall protection
is required.
